2025/01/13 | By Andrew Hsu

Innolux Corporation and AUO Corporation are making their mark at CES 2025, spotlighting their advancements in high-end display technologies such as Micro LED and targeting lucrative niche markets like smart cockpits.

Innolux, under the leadership of Chairman Jim Hung, is showcasing its latest innovations at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas with the theme “Driving New Possibilities.” In addition to unveiling groundbreaking technologies, the company is engaging with global customers to solidify partnerships and expand its market influence.

Jim Hung emphasized the transformation of automobiles from mere transportation tools into dynamic "second living spaces," integrating AI and mobile technology to connect users’ digital lives seamlessly. Leveraging resources from its parent company, Innolux aims to propel its subsidiary CarUX into the forefront of smart vehicle solutions, evolving into a comprehensive system provider with cutting-edge technologies and versatile functionalities.

Among Innolux’s highlights at CES is the debut of its next-generation 32-inch OLED Integrated In-Vehicle Display. Co-developed by CarUX and JDI, the OLED panel delivers twice the brightness and three times the durability of conventional OLEDs, setting a new standard for in-vehicle display performance.

Meanwhile, AUO is doubling its booth size for this year’s CES, continuing the momentum from its debut last year. Collaborating with BHTC, which it acquired in 2024, AUO is presenting its Micro LED display technology, paired with interactive and user-friendly smart mobility applications. AUO’s CEO & President, Frank Ko, and BHTC CEO Michael Jaeger are leading teams from Taiwan, North America, and Europe to emphasize the synergy of advanced display technology with enhanced user experiences.
